Peterpan

Peterpan is one of fenomenal band in Indonesia. Peterpan is a poprock band from Bandung that created by Andhika. The name of Peterpan is inspirated from a cartoon movie, that movie is “Peterpan”. The words “peter” is a name of boy from  the Peterpan’s movie it means a boy that wanted to fly. The Peterpan’s name means a band that wanted to fly become a the most famous band in Indonesia.

Personnel Peterpan are; Ariel (Vocal), Uki (Rhytem Guitar), Indra (Bass), Lukman (Lead Guitar), Reza (Drum), and Andhika (Keyboard)

Peterpan has begun famous cause the song “Mmpi yang Sempurna”.

Peterpan have 5 albums, its are Taman Langit (2003), Bintang Di Surga (2004),

Alexandria (2005), Hari yang Cerah... (2007), and Sebuah Nama, Sebuah Cerita (2009).

November 2006, two personnel, Andika and Indra was fired from the band. The split was triggered by the difference principle of creativity. Athough only 4 personnel remaining in Peterpan, but They keep the spirit to finish their albums.

The biggest problem is when the lead singer arrested because cases immoral. he detained for 3.5 years in jail. Even though suffered destruction cause the cases, but Sahabat Peterpan will still loyal to Peterpan and will waiting for Ariel free and come back to cotinue his job that have delayed.

Pariaman City is the one of city in West Sumatra . It’s the new town was established in 2002. Pariaman is the  one of city that has an attractive tourism sector. One of the most interesting is Coast tour is the Gandoriah beach. Gandoriah word comes from Minang language. Gando means festive and Riah means decorations. So Gandoriah means a pleasant natural decoration. This beach is located near downtown of Pariaman, so that everyday is always full of visitors.

Gandoriah is clean beaches that  can make visitors feel at home for long in this beach. The waves and gusts of wind add a good atmosphere. The most interesting of these is range of islands that that stands in front of this beach, which are Angso Duo island, Tangah island, and Pandan island..

One thing that should not be overlooked for the tourists who visit is see  the charm Pariaman's sunset on the Gandoriah Beach.

So if we want  tour to coast Gandoriah, One days will not be enough to have fun on this beach.

 Culinary Tours

Pariaman city is also famous for typical food. One of  most famous food is the "Sala Lauak". Foods made from rice flour and fish is very popular with visitors. Often times visitors make the "Sala Lauak" as souvenirs.

Culture Tabuik

Pariaman city is also famous for its cultural diversity, the most famous is the "Tabuik Party" Pariaman often called as the City Of Tabuik.Tabuik is an event to mark the Islamic new year every year at 10 Muharam is always celebrated by the people from pariaman.
